Oh dear :(

I had my original imac27 picked up yesterday due to a silvery effect issue (not the known yellow tinge), and was pleased that the replacement came today until.......

As with all things expensive I am ultra careful when it comes to unpacking so when it came to taking the plastic sheet which protects the screen off again very carefully, out pops the full screen!

So obviously put the screen protector back on which I did not remove fully ( do they use super glue to put them things on?), and called Apple care once again who will be arranging another pickup and replacement.

This is not a rant just kinda feel I need to share this as I want my imac27!!!!

Looks like another week without a computer and just my iPad :(

The full screen didn't pop out

The glass did, the glass is magnetically attached and it's supposed to be able to "pop out"

It comes off dead easy. I can pop it off with my fingernails no probs.

I watched mine pop off when trying to take off the screen protector, its no issue really.

Wow. I just don't know.

Reading some of the posts around here, it seems a minor miracle that my refurb iMac has been 100% from day one! :)

You didn't take off the screen, but the glass covering it.
There's no problem because it's magnetically attached and you can easily re-attach it.
