Hi. It's my second MBP since Santa Rosa released on 5th June. Now, at mid product cycle of the MBP, I have just ordered 2'4 Ghz MBP, but I only read problems with screen, problems on keyboard, problems, problems, problems. Is a product of 2200 €, and almost no one is satisfied. My question is: I get the 2nd MBP or I wait until new release??

they are getting better......give it a chance:)

Its hard to decide because we don't know when they are going to updated them. I just find it really strange that the Apple Stores have been out of 15" MBPs for quite some time now. If they don't update them soon, then the next update will most likely be in January or February.

Could they be refreshing it this early or are they really having a hard time pushing these out?

I am satisfied. No problems with mine.

It could very well be that a lot of people are having screen issues with the 15" MBP, resulting in lots of exchanges and returns. This is likely why stock is low.

I don't think they'll be refreshing again for some time. And if they do, so what? People who keep worrying about the next product cycle are never going to be happy. As long as the model you order does what you need/want it to do, and you expect it to do so for some time to come, then there's no problem.

I got my current 2.33GHz MBP just a month before the SR MBPs came out. I missed out on an extra 0.07GHz of processor speed. Big whoop! My programs are still running as zippy as they were before the 2.4Ghz SR model came out, and nothing has changed. ANd from what I'm hearing about the LED screens, I'm not missing much there either. :D
