I have noticed that when I restart my Mac Studio one of my monitors (Acer Nitro XV282K) is not seen until I unplug and reinsert the Thunderbolt Cable. Once I do that the monitor works fine. I have tried various thunderbolt ports on the back with no luck. My other monitor is not having issues, perhaps because it is HDMI.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Any fixes?

Hi BanditoB - thank you for the question - I just tried shutting down and restarting and I still needed to remove the cable and plug it back in. The same monitor was working just fine with a MacBook Pro 13" for years. Though I did not have the second monitor for that one. At least it is easily fixed and I rarely need to restart. Cheers

What exactly is the connection made of? Is it a thunderbolt to DP cable or adapter, or is this thunderbolt -> display natively? I have an XV273K and am not having issues on restarts (though I have had it fail to bring up that display once on wake from sleep but it did eventually come through)

Anyway if you've got an adapter involved then it's probably the problem. I have a single cable TB->DP cable on another Mac and it forces me to unplug and replug it in every day at least once, very annoying, but, haven't been motivated to replace it with another adapter I know to be better. The adapter I use on my Mac Studio doesn't have this issue.
