Last week I returned my new 24" 3.06Ghz iMac because it had HUNDREDS of stuck pixels and one dead pixel. I was very disappointed. I had it back on its way to Apple within 24hrs. Minimal fuss from Apple on the return. The script based 1st level support was irritating, but after bouncing through 3 different support reps I got permission to return. 18hr later they emailed my FedEx return label to me and it was off to FedEx.

Well the FedEx guy showed up today with the replacement. The entire process from the first call until replacment computer boot was 8 days. I ran some web based pixel checks as soon as I got to the desktop. The screen is perfect. No dead or stuck pixels. It has even backlighting and looks like a keeper.

All updates, including 10.5.3 went quickly and all is well :)

Glad to hear it!

Having had the LCD panel on my 24" iMac replaced twice I know that nervous feeling as you hit the power button and wait for that chime. You can pretty much tell if there is a gradient right from the grey startup screen. ;)

I got a keeper on my latest replacement as well.
