2nd unlock on 3Gs??

I unlocked my phone so I can now put my companies o2 sim in it.
I thought an unlock was for any card any network? I now have been given another mobile number due to a promotion, I put the sim in and it says sim is locked, you have 3 chances to put correct code in.

Do I have to do another fresh restore and unlock again?

No, your iPhone is already "carrier unlocked". The code input lock you see is the SIM lock. It's just a 4-digit PIN that locks your phone to prevent others from using it.

Your iPhone is locked to O2... Why would you unlock it to use an O2 sim?

erm, it's the company sim card who pay the bill.....surely I had to do this

If the carrier is O2, then I don't believe you have to (I could be wrong)... I've used O2 Pay&Go sims in my contract iPhone to test some stuff before, so I don't think it would object to having a business SIM in there - the only lock is on the network (in this case O2), not the type of contract in use
