Seems the Aura is the only 2TB SSD option right now, but its for the new Mac Pro.

(1) Is there some PCI card adapter that can use the new Mac Pro SSD memory stick format?

(2) and, most importantly, would such a PCI adapter card be able to boot an old Mac Pro with the new mac pro SSD stick in it?

I seem to remember some folks found one, but some quick searches didn't reveal it.

(3) Has anyone tried this with an early aura card? Seems like it would make a decent upgrade.

Thanks so much h98. So there's no reason to believe it won't work with the OWC blade then, but seems no one has tried it yet.

Has anyone seen such PCI adapters that take more than one blade? Seems like you should be able to get at least 2 if not 4 blades on a PCI card easily. Getting 4-8TB on a bootable SSD would completely change my workflow for the better.

Anyway, the link you had seemed to point to this card:

As the go to card. Thanks so much!
