Hi I just bought a 2008 2.8 8-core Mac Pro and it comes with the stock graphics card (Radeon 2600). So I was wondering what would be better 2X GeForce 120s or one Radeon 5770 (I would get em on ebay so 2 120s is cheaper) and also I am planning to connect 2 LED Cinema Displays (24") also I don't do much graphic intensive apps some photoshop, illustrator and mild final cut work.

A 5770 would end up being cheaper, as the GT120s are DVI out only, requiring expensive adapters to connect the miniDisplayport-only cinema displays.

Wrong. The GT120 does have miniDP so no adapters needed. I connect my 24" ACD to it and have a GTX285 for cuda only

The 5770 will perform a little better at Final Cut.

If the price difference isn't much I'd get the 5770.

the difference is about $70 also I heard that the 5770 is really noisy is it the same with the 120? or would it be more quiet?

There is no comparison. If you're driving two 30 inch displays, then you might benefit from having two couple-of-years-old low end cards.

Go for the 5770, even though it too is a gimped solution for a 3000$+ computer, it will perform a far cry better in graphics intensive applications (Read: Adobe CS, Apple Pro Apps, Games), ESPECIALLY if you only have one display.
