can I have a 128gb ssd as the boot drive and a 2tb ssd as my home directory?

I currently have the 128gb as the boot wth the home directory on a 2tb spinner - so going all ssd hurrah!

Just wondered if there were any issues doing the above with two ssds versus 1x ssd and 1x spinner

Of course you can, but why? Just move everything to the 2TB SSD is much much easier. That 128GB storage is not significant if compare to a 2TB drive anyway.

If that 128GB is a super fast PCIe SSD, you better save it to run some other stuff, use it for OS is just a waste.

It's a old 2.5" ssd that I've had for 6 years so might as well use it as it's already sat in the spare SuperDrive slot.
