Looks like it was released! When I first saw the screenshots, I was amazed. It really looked like the pictures expected from a PSP game. Unfortunately, it seems that these pictures are a little... misleading. The game ran smoothly on my first gen iPod Touch but the texture and resolution quality seemed to be exaggerated and enhanced in the provided screenshots. While playing in game, you can see the slight pixelation of the ground, which is not apparent in the screenshots, so unless the newer iPhones have a better graphics card and thus can have the game run at higher quality, I do believe that this was a good case of picture fraud.

The gameplay itself is fairly robust; frame rate is excellent on even the first gen iPod, the accelerometer based controls are easy to use, and game difficulty is not too frustrating. Where I do have to complain is with the sound quality. The sound effects which are laughably considered to be the ATV engine sounds seem more like what you would hear from a broken washing machine. Furthermore, I don't know if this happens in real life or not, but when in the middle of a jump, the engine sounds simply vanish. I, of course, highly doubt that this is the case with actual ATVs. The player injury sounds are even more funny; it sounds like the author had these sounds recorded in a small echoy box room, and they don't sound very good at that.

Overall, the game is certainly worth a quick looksie, I personally had some fun with it, but I wouldn't jump to consider this the best racing app around. What do you guys think?
