sorry if this has been posted before!

My 8GB 3g has been happily jailbroken for a while i had various things on it such as the battery % hack, winterboard the normal stuff

I updated to 3.0.1 and the % indicator was still there beside the battery but i imagine the phone was un-jailbroken which is no problem as i can do without the advantages for a while... to investigate further i have done a full restore on the phone and the % indicator is still there.. a good thing as i like it!,

had anybody else found this or can tell me why out of interest

Chris

Yes, a number of people have stated that the battery % was still there, however, when i updated mine, the battery percentage disappeared. I then had to re-jailbreak and hack again.

If you restore from a back-up the battery % stays, if you restore as a new phone it goes away.
