I have a 3G-S (third iPhone) which obviously came with 3.0, vs. being upgraded. Several times now, it's had random difficulties unlocking from the lock screen. I've been able to resolve them so far by hitting the sleep/wake twice, to sleep it and wake it again (did the same thing on my old Curve when it messed up in a similar fashion oming out of sleep). Yesterday, I was getting a phone call, but the slider would only follow my finger half way across the swipe and then bounce back to the start, and would not unlock, meanwhile the phone was ringing away. Today, I got an email chime and tried to unlock; this time the slider followed all the way across, but it would not unlock until I did the sleep/wake workaround again. I've had some other general chugginess/momentary lockups here and there as well. I have no problem doing a restore, but wanted to see if others are having these issues as well to determine if it's an actual issue with 3.0 stability, or if the phone just needs a restore. It has happened to my co-worker's upgraded 3G once or twice as well.
