3.0 update...now dark screen

Does it boot? If it's stuck in b;ack screen of death, try to put it into DFU mode. http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034
I just updated and now the screen is very dark! What do I do??
I cut it off and back on and now it's back to normal! Sorry, I should have TRIED that BEFORE posting!
