Hello,

Recently I have been experiencing burning issues with my iMac. Most of the time when I try to burn using iTunes, the burn fails and states that it wasn't responding properly. Then I tried burning a DVD and my superdrive sounded like a lawnmower. I was wondering if anyone experienced similar things and had a fix for it, or if I'm alone in this issue.

Thank you in advance.

LOL... Yeah that's perfectly normal... I work in an advertising department and hear them go off all the time.... it sounds like a helicopter taking off.... but as far as the burn fail thats definitely another issue... try using another program like Toast and see if you get the same results

Could have something to do with the disk itself as well. Some don't seem to be as 'balanced' as others, and they wobble in the drive.
