3.1.2 custom firmware without mac?

Hello, i dont have a mac with me so i cant use pwnage tool. I just need to know if i can download a 3.1.2 custom firmware for 3G from the net and restore the custom firmware on an iphone 3G using windows?

Just curious why a custom firmware is needed. Why not just use blackra1n to jailbreak? Or is there something else the custom fw will do?

I dont mind using blackra1n. Just i've head about youtube and pushmail not working after jailbreaking with blackra1n and unlocking with blacksn0w. Any comments?

Yeah some are having issues. Do a search on my post I recall posting on a thread discussing custom firmware for 312. If u can't find it pm me and I will help u.
