With missing calendar entries which show up in Outlook on Exchange but not on the iphone?

With missing calendar entries which show up in Outlook on Exchange but not on the iphone?

Well that's a coincidence! I just noticed this EXACT same problem this morning. My 10a appointment was missing on my iPhone and it was still in Outlook on our exchange server clear as day. The appointment for sure was on my phone yesterday and the only thing I did differently with the Calendar was I manually entered another appointment via the iPhone late yesterday for 9:30a this morning. The 9:30a appointment is on the phone but the 10a appointment is not.

This is causing me major concern as I use the phone for business and it gets everything pushed and synced from our Exchange server. I cannot risk missing an appointment so now I have to check Outlook every morning to make sure everything is duplicated. Not impressed.

Anyhoo, I'll be loading up the new firmware tonite and let you know how it goes but not sure if I'll know right away if the problem is solved or not. I'm also obviously curious if anyone else has feedback on this! Cheers!

This calendar sync issue is particularly annoying since it has been around since 3.0 (for me, at least). I never experienced any of these issues with 2.x. Like the previous poster, I now need to do a daily check to make sure my iphone calendar is correct. I've had appointments that never showed up and others that were there, but disappeared.

This is the 3rd most important function of the iphone for me (phone and email are 1 & 2, ipod is #4 :)), so it is pretty frustrating!

Well, just did the 3.1.2 update and no go. I shut off my iPhone calendar sync and deleted the calendar and then re-enabled it and it sync'd up again. Went day by day for October through my iPhone comparing it to my Outlook calendar and so far missing 4 appointments on the phone that are in my Outlook/Exchange calendar. Time to call Apple and blow a gasket on them me thinks....

Thanks!

Exchange

I'm hoping this fixes the 'server not contactable' Exchange synching problem I've been having - so far so good ...

Just talked to Apple support and they're not sure what is going on. They kicked me up to an exchange expert and so far the common denominator seems to be the missing appointments were ones that I sent out meeting invitations as part of the appointment. They're checking into that to see if that matters or not and are going to call me back. Keep you posted!

P.S. Had a two part issue on mine though, I logged into our exchange server via web browser (OWA) and some of the appointments in my Outlook are not in Exchange either (seperate from the ones mentioned above) so I may also have a setting issue on my end as to how my Outlook syncs with exchange.

We have many iphone users, and many of them are having issues with calendar stuff. My CEO has this issue and she is getting pissed at this as she has been missing appointments because of it.

I feel your pain! Apple better get this fixed right quick if they want to be a business player and hope to have a shot at going toe to toe with Blackberry.

I didn't like a lot of things on my old Windows Mobile phones but at least I had confidence that what I saw on the phone was indeed correct. I no longer "trust" my iPhone and that is going to be a HUGE issue for Apple to overcome in the business world. Just sayin'.....

Cheers!
