3.1.2 iphone 3GS....I need your help!

whats up guys...i have an iphone 3gs unlocked and jailbroken...i'm using T-Mobile...i have version 3.0...modem firmware is 04.26.08...

i downloaded pwange tool 3.1.4....what do i do now to get a custom firmware....i'm so confused! someone please help me out =)

There are step by step guides out there on how to do this. I found one on redmondpie. Just google around a bit.

Unfortunately I'm a windows user so pwnage doesn't work for me.

ok...so i found the 3.1.2restore...i downloaded it..it was about 300mb...i used pwnagetool 3.1.4..created the custom restore...went into itunes...did option and restore and picked the custom restore...everything looked good and now i have the usb and the arrow pointing into itunes and it says no service! what happened!?

now it's saying an iphone could not be restored...some kind of error came up in itunes.

ok so now...phone looks to be jailbroken.....Version 3.1.2 and Modem firmware is 04.26.08...

but now i have no reception or nothing like that...now what!

You should have just stayed on 3.0.x., Nothing exciting in 3.1



You need to unlock it with untrasnow I Cydia. You'll need wifi access to use cydia.

Get a tutorial for unlocking your phone with Ultrasn0w.

And the tutorial might say you have to add the source, it should already be added to Cydia, just search for Ultrasn0w
