3.1.2 update - does it bring back missing carrier logo?

I was missing the logo on my 3.1 jailbreak, and now it's back after my blackra1n JB.
The only thing that made it disappear was bc 3.1 didn't like the old baseband, so when we upgrade to 3.1.2, the bb gets updated and it's back.

Yes, if you update to the new baseband, it will correctly communicate your carrier to the 3.1 or 3.1.2 firmware.
It allows you to change the carrier name at the top of the screen to whatever you want it to be. I had it set up as my name for like a day, then got bored with it.
And by the way, "MIM" is short for the program "Make It Mine." Don't go doing a search in Cydia for MIM. You will not find it.
