i noticed that with 3.1 when i am streaming bluetooth audio in my car 2010 mazda 6, that if i try to make a call from the phone the outgoing ring chirp will not play over the bluetooth handfree in the car. The odd thing about this is that on FM, AM, CD, Sirius - it works just fine. Just not when Bluetooth Audio streaming. On top of that - you can control the phone from the car, and it'll work that way - just not from the phone itself. I am sure this is a bug since it works just fine in so many other situation and there are no other bluetooth oddities.
Going out on a limb here but has any one heard of something like this or experienced it themselves?
No one at the official apple forums heard of this and were typical snarky in telling me that the car's bluetooth profile (it's not it works fine in every other sitaution and worked perfectly on 3.0.1) is the culprit or that i need to wipe and restore the phone (that was the first thing i did ) or need to repair it (2nd thing i did).
