My 2008 3.1 Mac Pro won't wake from sleep after it hits the setting I have for it. I can put the computer to sleep deliberately before that and wake it up. Though of course I can just set the sleep pref to "never" I'd like to find out just why this is?

im not clear on your problem is it that when you go ':apple: -> sleep' the computer go's to sleep then you click on the mouse/keybored the computer wont wake up?

or when you wake up one drive is missing?

or that you have some kind of auto sleep setup and the computer is not going to sleep or is going to sleep and not waking up?

o so in system prefes -> energy saver - > scheduled you have it set to sleep/wake up at set times? & it's not wakening up at set time 'X"

:p iv never used that some one else will have to help out, maybe the battery on the mobo needs replacing?
or just wake it up by hand.
