Can you do a 3 Finger Swipe to go back and forward on Safari with the iPad instead of clicking the back and forward buttons?

you can with Atomic Web Browser...there's another thread where someone just mentioned this app, and it's awesome! I'd recommend trying it out, although the lite version doesn't have gestures, but the full version does and it's only $0.99... it replaced Safari for my iPhone (and soon for my iPad...when I get it)

nope. i wish.

i also wish i could do the firefox 'twist to switch tabs'.

or 4 fingers down to bring up expose like on the multi tough macbook pro

OMG! I just downloaded and tried it out! This is an awesome web browser!

Yep, Atomic Browser will do it...you can program the gestures for back/forward or refresh or switch tabs or a bunch of other stuff. 3 finger tapping also takes you in and out of full screen mode.

I REALLY don't understand why Apple didn't implement this themselves into Safari, I mean really, why not?

Atomic browser is nice. I hope to find out if they're doing the same thing Opera Mini Browser does. But I am really enjoying finger gestures within Atomic.
