Hi guy is it possible to install 3 double gpus in mac pro 2009 i was looking around and was looking at the gpu risers now is there any performance issues when it come to having 3 gpus or when one is using a risers.

I found this guy on you tube he build him self external gpu box that he is using on his mac what do you think about this or is mac to old and just build a pc

It's actually possible to install 3 double wide GPU without any riser.

1st GPU in slot 1
2nd GPU in slot 2 (and block slot 3)
3rd GPU in slot 4 (and block HDD bay 2,3,4)
 
would you know if all 3 gpu's would be running at same speed or is there bottle neck thanks guys

The GPU installed in slot 4 will run a little bit slower due to it's a x4 slot. But unless your job is really bandwidth sensitive, the performance penalty should be quite negligible.
