Well not only have phones4u now got selling rights to the iphone on Orange and O2.
It seems that 3 mobile will supply it as well, unofficially.
My sister in law has been with 3 for a few years now and was due an upgrade as from last week. She called 3 customer service on thursday to find out what handset she could get. After some complaining and a tough stance with the CS rep she was told she could have an iphone 3g for free on her current tariff.
We were both a bit bemused by this and waited to see what would happen. The phone arrived today. A brand new iphone 3g from Italy, factory unlocked. Complete with both Italian and UK instructions and chargers.
She ordered another 1 for her husband today.
Amazing.
