3 TB Fusion drive for Mac Mini....am I dreaming?

I was very impressed with the initial reports on the new Mac Mini - and at least intrigued with what was claimed for the Fusion Drive. I was a little disappointed ( but not surprised) that you don't seem to be able to geta 3Tb Fusion Drive in the Mac mini- jus tthe 1 TB... Do you thin kthis optino will come out..? soon ? Ever ? Is there a physical limitation blocking it, or an apple decision to nudge you over to getting an iMac. BTW - I have an EARLY 2006 iMac, whcih I was desperately hoping to replace with the new iMac, but the new Mac Mini caught my eye... any thoughts or comments... I really would prefer a 3TB, but am not above hooking up an external hard drive, in fact I have resigned myself to it. however, if it was reasonable that the 3TB woudl be incorporated into the Mini, I would wait ( at least a couple of months).... So the age-old question is again raised "should I buy now or wait a couple of ...?" I am inclinde to buy now..

The Mini can only accommodate 2.5" HDD. There are no 3TB 2.5" HDDs. Yet.

All a "Fusion Drive" is is a hard drive paired with a SSD and using the preloaded build of Mountain Lion that comes with new software components to manage the two as one drive. Mac minis can only accomodate 2.5" hard drives which are maxed out at 1TB, so for now, you're only going to see 1TB Fusion drives on the Mac mini. Same thing goes for the new 21.5" iMac. You only see the 3TB Fusion Drive option on the 27" iMac because it still uses 3.5" desktop hard drives which go up to (and now beyond) 3TB.

^ Technically 2TB 2.5" drives exist. Although at 15mm thick they don't fit in many devices. (not sure if it would in a Mac Mini)
