3-year protection plan without ADH for MacBook pro

renderTimingPixel.png

Hi everyone,
I just bought a refurbished (not factory refurbished) MacBook Pro 14" m1 ($1200) pro from Microcenter. Trying to decide if it's worth it to pay $150 for the 3-year protection plan. The refurb is in pretty good condition, but the battery health is already at 93%, which is concerning. I'm hoping if it does drop down below 80% within the 3 years, they will replace it. Has anyone had any good or bad "Experiences" using their warranty for Macbooks?
Alternatively, I was looking at a used MacBook Pro 14" from the Facebook marketplace for $1150 with a battery at 97%, but I will not be able to get a warranty. Or possibly looking at other factory refurbished options which are hard to find. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I hate Facebook so I would never buy anything from their site. For used computers, my recommendations are Swappa.com, Apple's refurb store (which is going to be the. most expensive), OWC, and some Amazon sellers. I have often bought refurbed Macs from Apple and they are always fine.
