30" Cinema Display dim on one side

I have a 30" ACD that is showing some "dimness" on the left side.

EDIT: the photo exaggerates what I'm seeing, it is not this bad in person.

Is there any thing I can do about this? It is most noticeable on white backgrounds (as in the image).

I LOVE the display and would hate to give it up.
