I checked and have no native Mac 32 bit programs that I need to run but I do use VMware fusion with Windows 10 daily for some work specific applications that only run under windows and are 32 bit. Will they still work?

Your virtual machine is isolated from the host operating system so compatibility with apps on the virtual machine will not change. (You could even run an old version of macOS virtually on Catalina to retain access to 32-bit apps.)
