Like most users, I have several 32-bit apps. Some of these, which are identified as 32-bit by both CleanMyMac X and by Apple's System Report, will start in Mojave without popping up the warning that they need to be updated in order to run in Catalina. Most of the 32-bit apps identified by those utilities DO pop up that warning before they start.
One of these apps is the Scan utility for my Epson AIO, which I cannot do without (and Epson Support is far worse than useless in answering questions about the need for an update, possibly because the printer drivers have already been updated to 64-bit).
What am I to make of this discrepancy? Might these programs somehow continue to work in Catalina?
