iPod 32+gb iPod nano?

My 160gb iPod Classic died this summer. The harddrive had it. The weak spot of the proper iPod...

I'm sick of swapping iPod because the harddrive dies.

Why isnt there a 32gb (or 64gb) iPod nano? The iTouch is too bulky for workouts (if not i would just use my iPhone istead)

Do you think the next nano will feature 32gb? I mean come on! 16gb, thats just pathetic...

I've been hoping for the same thing. 32 or 64 would be a sweet spot to bring "most" of your music library with you!

When my current 16GB 4th-gen iPod nano dies, if that ever happens as this thing seems indestructable, I plan on getting a 2nd-gen iPod mini and doing the 64GB or 128GB CompactFlash card mod. It looks like a very strait-forward and easy mod, and it gets you an awesome iPod with tons of space.

As Apple costumers are buying more and more media from Apple's iTunes, the iPods need to continue to increase in storage space. It isn't very expensive for Apple to insert 32GB (or more) storage into iPods now that flash memory isn't a new technology and is even less expensive to produce.

I believe the next iPod nano WILL have 32GB memory at hopefully the same price ($149) or have multiple storage sizes (16GB and 32GB) because it is a major drawback of the iPod nano since Apple costumers are increasingly consuming more iTunes media.

It will work with both. Thay are identical in design and hardware

Apple doesn't want you to buy an iPod nano, they want you to buy an iPod touch and buy into the iOS ecosystem, so the nano is crippled on purpose.

My current outdated nano is 8GB and that's basically full so I'm still getting a new nano anyway since 16GB for only music and nothing else should be more than enough for me personally for the next few years.
