Am I looking at the wrong place? I read 32bit windows xp/vista wouldnt see all 4gb. Where else can I check for ram readings? This is through Boot Camp.

I thought 4GB was the 32-bit Windows limit, though I think XP reports 4GB as 3.75GB usually, but it would appear Vista corrects that. I just don't think it'll see/address any more than 4GB.

It can "see" 4GB but it can not utilize it. It can only utilize 3 (some people say 3.5 but I have yet to see it).

After Vista Service Pack 1 came out vista could see the new ram and everyone in my office got excited cause their super high end ($10k + ) gaming rigs could now see 4gb until we did some tests and realized thats all it did was see it.
