Hey there,

Was really excited to update today and after a very long time (3 hours) of downloading, backing up, restoring firmware, installing, restoring apps, restoring music and videos, restoring photos,.... it seems that iOS5 runs fine on a 32 GB 3GS.

One issue I have noticed with very little sample time is that the battery life seems to drop like crazy versus every other version of iOS I have run (since July 2009)

Anyone else experiencing this? Could this just be first day issues or is it time to sell the 3GS on CL and upgrade to 4S?

TIA

PDX

i'd upgrade to the 4S from the 3GS, but i am standing pat with my 4. but if the battery life is the only thing giving you issues, i'd give it a week or so. you've probably been using your phone more than usual today messing with iOS 5. also, wait until there are more reports from others on battery life with the 3GS (and obviously the 4S).
