I have an iPhone 6 (64GB), on 8.1 jailbroken.

I currently have 33.7 GB of "Other" in the iPhone storage. I have deleted caches, cookies, dowloaded and ran iCleaner with no effect.

Last night i went to bed with ~5gb of free memory and woke up today with zero bites available.

The only thing that I can think of that may be doing this is something is going wrong when my phone backs up to iCloud.

(I have tried many of the things on this list http://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/1ez4f7/psa_the_guide_to_cleaning_up_your_other_section/ ) with nothing working.

Anyone have any ideas here?:(

Mine does that too,, it goes down from 1gb to 0 bytes in a few minutes from doing nothing,,not even using the phone,,when I plug in the phone charger the phone also loses storage, weird,, I think it may be a pangu issue ,, I'm also on 8.1,,,now it's back up to 1.2gb even though I haven't deleted anything,, it just goes up and down,,

I had this happen with my iPad mini, only thing that fixed it was a restore, then installing all that apps one by one.

Seems to working better now,, I deleted the powerlog file that was like 1.5gb and the other small powerlog files and things have stabilized now with the storage going up and down fast or strangely ,,, thanks

What about the garbage in the var/mobile/media/PhotoData/Thumbnails
Folder? That's got data in that that totals up to almost 700mb for me and sounds sorta like cache crap. I don't wanna blindly delete it though, any clues?

Do you have a lot of pictures on your phone?

I believe they're thumbnail files (for the small preview)

Some of the conversation within this thread is sometimes followed with, "I just bricked my iPhone!"

Seriously, be cautious.

Yup around 1400. Would it be bad to delete these file or would the folder just recreate itself? If hate to loose the 1400 pics though.

I think the thumbnails would just recreate itself. If it doesn't, i think you would see a black image as the picture preview
