$34 for a freakin Apple usb wall outlet plug?

It's bad enough to have to spend $58 on a damn dock just to have a standing charger for your ipod just because Apple only offers the ones with remotes, but then to not include a cable at $29 or a $34 adapter to plug it into the wall? Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

I thought I would just get a powered USB hub, but I didn't realize that it still had to be plugged into the computer to work, so now the only way to dock eight ipods without having them dependent on the computer is to spend nearly $300 for stupid adapters that should cost no more than $5. Ridiculous price gouging on Apple's part.

What's wrong with it being plugged into the computer? That way you can manage the media on every one of those iPod's without switching out cables?

apple made products are expensive, and in japan everything is expensive.
+ and + so its ++++ money lol

I'll try and find aftermarket ones...I don't want to plug them into the computer because I don't want to have seven ipods and a 3G connected to it all at once, or all the time...I like to occasionally shut my laptop down so I don't want to depend on the laptop being on to make sure I have an ipod ready to go...they seem to leak charge when on the dock but not plugged in, whereas if not on the dock they hold their charges quite well.
