LED screens have been out then apple finally decided to make all their screens LED. Do you think that they will finally put Blu-Ray drives in their macs now? and possibly make the screens 3D ready for the future? because both are here and have been here for quiet a while, or do you think apple will wait for the no glasses 3D screens to develop first?

There will be internal upgrades which we cant see, but what visual upgrades would you like to see? or do you think they will do??

Zero chance for 3D display in next iMac. (No OS to support it, would require new OS)

Next to Zero chance for BluRay.

i dont know, i mean look at leopard/snow leopard its been out for quiet a while now so maybe OS 10.7 is due sometime next year too?

Honestly, you will never see a 3d screen without glasses in a iMac.
Autostereoscopy is crap... all current forms degrade the image by either lowering the resolution to a per-eye basis, or putting a image distructive film in front of the viewer (as in Parallax Barrier or Lenticular Lens)...

what about a laser plasma volumetric display?

image that, each point acting as a pixel in R3, full colour with a resolution of something like 3000x3000x3000. higher lumens making the image almost completely opaque.

I see the iMac being comparable to a Macintosh II by then...

wow omg is that real?! i guess the future isnt that far away after all. but that on a mac yeah your right i doubt we will ever see anything like that anytime soon. i guess there is not really a need for it right?

There is nothing special about 3D screens. They're just normal high refresh rate LCDs that have been licensed to show 3D.
