Whilst waiting for my replacement Watch band, I used the computer in my lab to design a band adaptor to let me fit a normal strap into my watch. It's not going to be the prettiest little thing, but hopefully should be functional! I've attached a picture of the rendering (sorry it's from AutoDesk as I don't have Solidworks at home!)
I shall be 3D printing it and seeing how well it works! - I will update this thread with the progress.
Note: It's designed for my 42mm but also is designed to fit the bottom edge of the watch, not to the corners as I've not yet done the tapered edges to fit the watch, mainly because I've been studying for my finals and have not had time to take detailed measurements of the watch and have no band to take measurements of the connector! If anyone wants to take some precise measurements of the connector on their band and post some dimensions that'd be awesome!
