I have used makemkv, subler and iflicks in the past. I would just like one file across all my devices that I can use 3d if it supports it and 2d if it doesn't.

jayhawk11 macrumors 6502a Oct 19, 2007 775 283 May 8, 2012 #3 If you rip the 3D movie as a MKV, you can watch it with VLC in 2D mode using this trick: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=94946 The only problem is that iOS devices don't work with that trick, so you're going to have to convert everything for them.
