I know Facebook don't provide update notes in the App Store, but do they provide (or does anyone list) release notes anywhere at all?
Not sure but it's pretty stupid. They say the same thing over and over.
I'm not sure why they don't highlight new features.
They mentioned that they would call out changes that are important. Don't see how this wouldn't be important or worthy of being called out. They say the release updates every two weeks. Having to list off what they did every two weeks is likely not in their best interest. By doing it this way, they can push updates, and NOT tell us when major security issues, or anything of that nature has been resolved. They do adivse you take the updates. Any program that has to be updated bi weekly without new features is nice, it means it's constantly being worked!
The only thing that is odd is that I thought it would go straight to the part you press on. If you press update status, it brings you to the app. Rather than the screen where you update status. If you press take photo or video. It also brings you to the part where it says what's on your mind. Rather than bringing you straight to the photo portion of it.
As opposed to Twitter where it brings you straight to the portion you press. If I press new tweet it brings me straight to the screen where I can update my status. For Facebook you press write post, and it brings you straight to your newsfeed. And then you click on the portion for what's on my mind. And then you can update it then. Seems like an extra non needed step with Facebook. If anyone knows what I mean.
I'd suggest a reinstall of the app then, because mine DOES go to the status page if I use that option on the 3D touch menu, same for the upload photo (straight to picker) or take photo (straight to camera).
