Settings -> Sounds and Haptics, scroll down and switch off "System Haptics" and your 3D/haptic touch will be silent again.![]()

does it go away if you mute your phone?
nah they added that stupid glass tapping sound for haptic touch. fortunately i keep my phone on mute so i didn't even notice it until someone pointed it out on this site. idk how to get rid of it if the sound is on though.yes it does! and as i usually have my phone on mute - i just noticed it a little while ago. thought my screen was failing, but it's clearly some kind of a "feature"...
