it seems like after the ios13 update there is now a high-pitched noise when using 3d touch. although i usually keep my phone on silent, i feel like i would've noticed if that was the case before...

Settings -> Sounds and Haptics, scroll down and switch off "System Haptics" and your 3D/haptic touch will be silent again. :)

you know, i tired that yesterday and it didn't work! i'll try to reboot, i guess, but these kinds of changes shouldn't requre that...
 
yes it does! and as i usually have my phone on mute - i just noticed it a little while ago. thought my screen was failing, but it's clearly some kind of a "feature"...
nah they added that stupid glass tapping sound for haptic touch. fortunately i keep my phone on mute so i didn't even notice it until someone pointed it out on this site. idk how to get rid of it if the sound is on though.

bad enough there won't be 3d touch in the future, they add this high pitched crap. i have tinnitus - it's annoying! :) i guess i'll swing by the store, but i searched the options and unless they hid it somewhere i'm sol...
