I just did a couple of searches and found one post from June that mentions the fact that in iOS10 the 3D Touch menu for Maps took away the 'Home' option.

Either I'm missing the really simple way to reinstate that option, or very few people used that feature, but it was incredibly useful. Didn't matter where you were, get in the car, hard click, 'Home', done. Now I have to go into Maps and search for home!?!?!

Is there a way to edit the options in the 3D touch menus?

That option isn't gone.

Look at the right side screenshot. But I think it only appears if you aren't home.

It never appears on mine. If I have an appointment in my calendar with an address then it will over it in the 'destinations' window. I'd have thought more people would use a 'home' shortcut than either sending or marking their current location? As far as I can tell there isn't even an easy option for 'home' in Maps?

Maybe it's related to your confidentiality and geolocation settings, because the "Home" option as it looks on the screenshot is real.

Thanks, you may have nudged me in the right direction! I just checked and I had some random address in my Maps favourites tagged as 'home' and I had a second contact card in Address Book called 'home' with an old address in it. I've updated both now so next time I'm away from the house I'll have to check if home is now offered as a destination?
