3D Touch not working to switch apps since last update

Hi,
I updated to the new IOS 11 a couple days ago and since then I can’t switch between apps or bing up the apps by pushing the side of the screen and swiping sideways, is this a known issue?

Well, that sucks big time. Now I feel like a kid that was given a nice toy, and then taken away without apparent reason.
