Ugh. I can't believe myself. I put a BSE on the 3G and then slipped my iFrogz case on it. It needed a little muscle but I got it on. Now I want to change my case but I can't get the iFrogz case off! I've pulled and pulled and can't get the sucker off! Anyone have any tips on trying to remove the case w/o breaking it?

I know, I know..it's my fault for trying to be overprotective of my iPhone :(

Oooooh. I'm sorry to hear that. Short of "gently" cracking the case, I don't know what to tell you. I know you don't want to break the case, but it's possible that's your only option. I can't think of anything safe that you could try to get up under there to lubricate it and there's no way you could get any sort of powder under there to break the seal that's formed between the skin and case.

You may just have to break the case away and either remove the skin or buy only cases that have a front shell and a back shell, so they won't seal and get stuck like that.

If you DO find a way to safely get it off, I'm sure many people would appreciate you sharing the technique (myself included -- fear of exactly what happened to you is the only thing that has stopped me from applying a full-body skin as well).

Good luck.

My friend did the same thing. He had to BREAK it to get it off.

That really sucks.

Don't mean to be a jerk but usually if its hard to put on and takes muscle then its a good idea not to put it on. Also be sure to read directions, if it doesn't say its okay to use a screen protector then don't

It wasn't like I forced it on and I know other people who have done it. It was just that last millimeter to lock it in place that needed a little extra push. Mostly it was plastic on plastic sticking together.

I got the case off and didn't have to break it. All pieces are in tact and the Incipio case is on it now w/ the BSE. No extra muscle needed and it comes off easily.
