If I've paid for a full month unlimited and "cancel" the plan so it doesn't auto renew do I lose the prepaid time I've already paid for?

If so how to I turn off the auto renew without losing the time?

A 3G related question, How quickly does the plan become active?
When I sign up, can I begin using immediately or is there a delay?
If a delay, is it < 1 hour, 1-4 hours, > 4 hours?

Mine took about 5 minutes max. As long as it likes your billing information it's pretty much instant.

No, You would not loose the time you already paid for, when you sign up for 3G coverage you have to agree to a few things and part of that agreement also hold the telco responsioble for providing you with the service you paid.! Once you paid for the time it is yours to use for the next 30 days. And after the 30 days you will no longer have 3G service.

I didn't want the auto-renew either so I took the gamble and hit "Cancel Plan" under View Account. It then gave me the option to delete my account immediately or after 60 days of inactivity. I selected the 60 day option. It gave me a confirmation that auto-renew was cancelled, and my data plan is still active :)

After it expires, as I understand it, if I want to re-activate data within those 60 days I can do so without having to re-enter my information.

BTW, loving the 3G ability. Glad I signed up for the unlimited plan. Only two days in and I've used over 150 mb :D

Thanks! This is exactly the answer I was looking for.
