Anyone else only getting Edge in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ area? I have been in about a 8 mile radius only to have it stuck on Edge. Even after a system reset and re-selecting 3G its been like this for almost 2 hours, and all day I have had troubles connecting to calls??? Its hasnt been like this since the launch of the 3G back in August 08

I just went out to eat on Shea and 90th and the 3G was fine. HOPEFULLY, they will extend service to the Via Linda/90th street area and I have 1-2 bars of edge at my house.

Ok, I am stretching and reaching as far as I can with this thought, but, every time Ive heard of a usual strong 3G signal suddenly becoming horrible or spotty for a period of time it turned out that AT&T was upgrading to the 850mhz in that area. Of course I can be totally wrong about that thought but a boy can dream, right?? I am in Phx too btw, and I noticed last night, in the West Valley, that my usual strong 3G signal was gone and I was on Edge. However, it came back after setting the phone to airplane mode for a lil bit.

I work in central Scottsdale and in Mesa (depending on the day of the week) and I've figured out that 3G service is either perfect in some areas or downright horrible in others, without a middle ground. For some reason, my apartment complex in Scottsdale, and my work building in Mesa are pretty much dead zones.
