The iPhone sim card can be used in any unlocked phone. It's just that other sims won't work in an iPhone(unless it's unlocked.)

and what about putting the sim back into the iphone?
will there be any issues when i re insert it?

thanks again for the reply ^^

You shouldn't have any issues using the iPhone's sim card in the Nokia or any other unlocked GSM phone.

FWIW, the only issue you will encounter is if you were trying to use the 3G sim card in a 2G iPhone. At least, I wasn't able to do it b/c my 2G iPhone is not activated since it was replaced under warranty. I was hoping to be able to use the 2G iPhone as a backup to my 3G but no dice according to the AT&T rep and the Apple Store. I tried activating the 2G iPhone and that was a mistake b/c it started to screw-up the data plan on my 3G iPhone.
