3G icon disappearing when I go into mail - anyone else w this issue??

Hi,

The last couple of days I've been noticing that when I open my "Mail" the 3G icon in the status bar disappears, however, I have full bars and the AT&T logo still shows. I then close out of my "Mail" and reopen then the 3G appears again.

And today for the first time I received a popup box that said the following "Could not activate cellular data network".

Has anybody else been experiencing this issue??
