Okay so lets say I buy a 3G Iphone from France, can i jailbreak it and use a prepaid SIM card in the USA? I don't know how it's going to work because France won't have to buy an Iphone with contract, they can just buy the phone without a provider or anything. My main question is After i buy it, will i be able to use it in the USA with prepaid SIM card.

yes, an unlocked iPhone from any country will work with a prepaid sim...
