Noticed last night that while iam on the phone, the person that iam listening to, their voice is really quite, even with the speaker turned right up. This problem only happened a couple off days ago, and before that it was fine and the speaker volume was just over half way. Anyone know why?

Tried a reboot, and tried plugging and un-plugging earphones and still no joy - http://www.iphoneatlas.com/2007/08/30/no-iphone-audio-a-simple-fix/

Sounds like the speaker has been blown, or you live in a country, where Apple was forced to limit the volume (read: EU).

It was fine when I got my phone, the volume sounded fine. Live in the UK. I can hear music fine without using the headphones so sound is coming out ok. I just cant hear anyone when they phone me! Well I can hear then when the vloume is turned up, just about.
