is this possible? i believe i have to pay for restocking fee and the difference right? or just return it and buy 32GB or 64GB later?

you can upgrade. there is a 10% restocking fee.
however, many people on the forums with past apple products have been able to get that waived since they are upgrading their products and not returning.
ask the manager to wave it at the apple store since you will be upgrading, no harm.

honestly, its like i won a jackpot on this thing. you know guys all over the forum im still waiting my email from apple store. but still no luck.

yesterday, at craigslist i just got lucky. he advertise the ipad for $600 and ended buying $550 in cold cash! plus he included the apple case. the unit is perfect and no scratch at all. i am now synching from my old ipad wi-fi (back-up) that i sold 32GB and it looks to me that im running out of memory.. (still synching though)

here is the problem. no receipt given by seller. how can i explain to apple store? tell them that it was a gift and i want to upgrade a higher capacity? or worst ask for a gift card?

id love to upgrade to 64gb but im afraid they will ask for the previous CC..

anyone experinced this?

I think a CC is required for all returns/exchanges on iPad especially with the current sanctions in place.

You can put it back on c-list.

 DON'T ask for a gift card if you want to upgrade!!!!

Apple Store is not accepting Gift Cards for purchases of iPads, only Credit Cards.....

If you dont want to loose any money and they try and charge restocking fee you could always put it on ebay.

What is "loose" money? Money that "gets around"?

Of course nobody wants to "lose" money.

Lose does not equal loose.

I'll keep you posted. I'll try to upgrade tomorrow. By the way. Do they have some stocks on those people who wants to upgrade?
