3G - Light leaking onto screen

My iPhone 3G has an issue. Light is bleeding from the edge of the screen torwards the screen itself.
I compared my iPhone to the ones in the Apple Store and they did not seem to have the issue. But I can't say for sure because it's really hard to notice under the bright storelights.

I know its really hard to see on the picture but I hope you get an idea.

What you've shown in your photos looks perfectly normal to me.

If you take any phone and look at it from that angle, of course some light is going to leak out. Considering there's a backlight... what would you expect?
