Besides the looks and the accelerometer, any reason to get a 4G? Seems also like viewing movies would be better on 3G...

From what I understand, the accelerometer is for watching "wide" (if such a thing on the nano) and to shake to shuffle your songs.

Any input appreciated... Thanks

I personally am going to buy the 4G because I can get it in 16GB whereas the 3G only comes in 8GB max. I also personally prefer the skinnier yet taller shape than the short chubby:)

If viewing movies or other video content is your goal, get a touch. Screens are too small on nanos IMO.

The screen is apparently the exact same size on the 4G as the 3G, so the 4G has no better capability for wide screen movies than the 3G.

The 4G features seem neat, but I'm only getting it for the 16 GB size. If they had a 16 GB "fat" version for less, I'd probably get that. Still, the brushed aluminum and glass might make it more resistant to scratches, so that may be another advantage.
