Ok. Last night I was using my iPhone when all of a sudden, the person on the other end of the phone could not hear me. I can hear them clearly. The issue was still happening using both the headset and without the headset. I looked online and some people said to do a reset. I tried that and the problem came back. Someone else mentioned turning the 3G off. I then did this and it works.

This morning, I went to class and it is a good 5 or 6 miles away. I tested the voice network using the 3G and it worked fine. I'm beginning to feel that it is a network problem rather than the phone itself. I just got off the phone with AT&T and they said that they will report the issue but i was the first person to report it. So I don't know how long it will take to get the issue resolved.

I have searched the forums on MR but I have not found anyone with the same problem. Could this possibly be a problem with the phone?
I'm going to give it some time to see if AT&T will fix this. Thanks guys in advance.

AT&T always says this. Cell phone service is not going to be perfect and as reliable like a land line telephone. Just a fact of the technology.
